Halo laser is a hybrid fractional laser that is excellent for treatment of fine lines and wrinkles, increased pore size, texture abnormalities of the skin and sunspots that come with aging. In the particular case, melasma was the problem that we were treating. Anyone who has melasma knows that it is a very difficult problem to treat and often requires multiple modalities and ongoing care. This patient had one treatment with the Halo and her results speak for themselves. She has an obvious clinical improvement that can be seen not only in her pictures, but in her Visia analysis as well. With just one treatment, her disordered pigment cells are less apparent. With multiple treatments and good home care, we will continue to see gradual improvement.
