Since starting her practice in 2009, Dr. Collins has developed a reputation for exceptional surgical skill and a thoughtful, comprehensive approach to her patients, whether they are coming for body contouring or facial surgery. Dr. Collins’ philosophy is that to achieve the most natural and enduring results in aesthetic medicine, a multidisciplinary team approach yields the best outcomes.

Dr. Collins is not only passionate about her practice—she’s exceptionally qualified. Her academic journey began with a cum laude graduation from medical school, where she ranked an impressive 10th out of 200 students. This foundation led her to the East Carolina University Brody School of Medicine in North Carolina for a general surgery residency.  

Upon completing her residency and achieving board certification in general surgery, she moved on to Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia. There, at one of the nation’s premier plastic surgery residency programs, Dr. Collins honed her skills under revered plastic surgery experts. 

Commitment To Ongoing Development 

Dr. Collins’ dedication to excellence doesn’t stop at her education. Recognizing her commitment and skill, she was chosen for a prestigious fellowship in breast reconstruction and body contouring, mentored by the past president and renowned fellow of the American Association of Plastic Surgeons, Dr. John McCraw. This fellowship led to her winning the Lee Harvey Hendricks Prize—recognition for her remarkable research in breast reconstruction and body contouring.

She speaks regularly on her technique of deep plane facelift, as well as participating in panels on nonsurgical facial rejuvenation at the American Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS) and the Southeastern Society of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons (SESPRS), among others. She is a trainer and lecturer for Allergan Aesthetics (maker of BOTOX® Cosmetic), as well as Sciton® Medical & Aesthetic Laser Technologies, where her work in facial laser skin resurfacing has been featured on their marketing website.
